Black consumer beware! I know ppl have been going to this restaurant for as long as it’s been around, but the community really needs to reconsider. I went in after not going for some time, (literally more than a year+ - and only by invitation by my mother) and I was reminded why I NEVER GO IN HERE. I asked for the chicken with rice and beans. This used to just be a simple lunch special type order. You would have thought I asked for mountains to be moved and for heaven to be brought down to earth
Very disappointed with this place. The food was overpriced and portions were extremely small. I paid $18 for barely any rice and a tiny piece of meat. Definitely not worth the money. The quality didn’t make up for the portion size either. Unfortunately, I won’t be coming back.
Just ordered from this place (via grub hub) about a hour ago and felt the need to write this review about my experience immediately. Fried chicken chucks were hard as rocks, the chicken was clearly old and refried. Stew chicken had a pungent smell and tasted as if it been sitting out all day. My fiance had the Fried Chicken Chunks and shes seems to be fine, i had the stew chicken and I'm currently on the toilet suffering serious stomach pains.
