Their pastrami is still one of the best, almost on par with Katz. But the ambiance is way superior to Katz so the dining experience is better. The sandwiches we ordered were: pastrami, corned beef and lox. For the lox we were given tofu based cream cheese (Jewish dietary law forbids mixing meat and dairy for a meal) which was just as good as regular cream cheese. Next time the tongue sandwich.
Great staff and were kind. Cost of meal was worthwhile. Vibey restaurant and space. Matza soup was the winner. Definitely worth coming to the restaurant. Short line but moved super fast. Free appetisers with all meals. Specials were incredible!
Authentic deli serving amazing pastrami in a traditional setup. Highly recommended, not too busy compared to the touristy places in New York. Reasonable prices, delicious food, well worths a visit. We were kindly greeted and seated straight after we went in, our soups came in a few minutes and we didn't even finish them when the pastramis arrived too. Very efficient, kind service.
