My friend and I had a great dinner here. We ordered the lamb chops, French fries, and wine. The lamb chops were delicious, and we really enjoyed the wine and the atmosphere. The service was great as well, and our waiter, I believe his name was Luis, was very attentive and friendly. The only disappointment was the French fries. Had a great dinner at The View. The city skyline was absolutely stunning and really made the night feel special. The food was overall delicious and well-executed. We started with the roasted baby beets and steak tartare - both fresh, flavorful, and nicely balanced. For mains, we originally wanted the filet mignon, but it was sold out, so we went with the bone-in ribeye and the prime rib au jus. The View at the Marriott Marquis was a fantastic night out. Food was genuinely great, the service was on point, and the wine list had way more good options than I expected. The rotating floor is a blast—you get a full lap of the Manhattan skyline over the course of dinner without leaving your seat. Touristy in the best way. Would absolutely go back.
