Came for brunch on a Sunday morning and was seated instantly. Tasty pancakes and solid omelette with potatoes. Amazing hot chocolate! I was a little thrown off by the no sauce on buffalo wings but I’m not from the area. Excellent service, very attentive and friendly. Plus, they did not rush us with the bill.
The waffle was like extra crispy, definitely overcooked. Not a fluffy Belgian waffle. Not even close. The frittata was nothing even resembling an actual frittata, it was basically a messy omelet. Just thrown on the plate. No finesse or care as far as plating and presentation. Overall, the food was not so tasty.
Elektra and Gerardo are the best! A year ago I moved to New York and was looking for a place to eat, Tasty’s Diner was my first stop. Elektra was and is the most hospitable, sweet and carrying human! This restaurant and place makes me feel like i’m at home. I usually come here for a hearty meal and a glass of wine! You can’t ever go wrong with anything on the menu 💕
