51st Bakery & Cafe offers a relaxed vibe and a clean environment that is deceptively spacious and kid-friendly. While the friendly staff provides great service, the food consistently falls short. The pastries are okay, but the savory options lack balance; specifically, the signature 51st Egg sandwich featured incredibly salty bacon and an industrialized brioche that felt disconnected from the dish. This cafeteria has plenty of seats and tables, many of which have chargers for your electronic devices. I’m not sure if they offer Wi-Fi, but you can order some snacks and drinks and stay for a while. We ordered a latte and bread pudding. We loved the pudding, it wasn’t too sweet, and the top was crispy and delicious.
I loved this cafe! They have good baristas taking care about how to make a good coffee or tea, but also I am a Gluten Free person and Nicolas solved all my questions and made me a great suggestion, I had the Raclet Ham Sanwich with fig jam and it was perfect + the GF Chocolate/coconut vanilla cake and my cortado! This place made me happy and is one of my fav in the area!
