So i walked in to 68 jay st with it already having been recommended to me by a close friend. I expected a good time. What i hadn’t expected was that the bartender who was on shift at the time that i walked in would make me feel like a close friend or even a member of family. Shayna is not just one of the best bartenders I’ve ever met, i count her as a close friend. If you do yourself any favors while you visit the times square of brooklyn (aka dumbo), do yourself a favor and come by and say hell
Such a great no-frills and chill bar to have here. Not flooded by out of state tourists. I first came here as a "NYC tourist" lol I grew up here just never explored Dumbo before! It's a great spot for locals and people wanting a drink after walking around Dumbo or maybe seeking shelter after a picnic day in Brooklyn Bridge Park. Also a good solo flyer bar if you are looking to just read a book and have an incredible negroni (thank you Marion!!!). There are two rooms in the bar, so you can choose
fantastic happy hour until 7pm on weekdays and friendly crowd/bartender! great seating area too with a fire place. reminded me of the pub in Shameless
