This place has been on my radar for a while, and I finally made it there. Overall, a very positive experience. Unlike many other spots, the food here tastes like authentic Chinese cuisine. Stepping through the door truly feels like being transported to Guangzhou. The menu design needs a serious refresh, as it looks a bit subpar right now. But overall, definitely worth a visit for an authentic meal
After tried this restaurant multiple times, We found that the quality and flavor of the dishes here is not stable because they change chef frequently and we will not come to this restaurant any more in the future after tonight's bad experience. We ordered Ma La Xiang Guo (spicy stir-fry pot) and the first bite almost made me nausea because of the tons of sugar they put in it. Let’s start with the good. This place has the old school, Cantonese/Hong Kong dishes, and they are delicious. Not like typical takeout/delivery places these days. I have tried their roast pork over rice and their yung chow fried rice. Both as I used to get at Wing Wong on Mott street. Now for the bad.
