After departing Lenox Hill MRI I began my search for breakfast. I could not walk far and didn't want to use transit so I just walked one block over and saw this Adobo Mexican Grill, and it looked very appealing by the restaurants name emblazoned on the front of the building. Stepping inside of Adobo Mexican Grill it was more lavish than one would think. This is a quick order, dine-in, or take out. I'd eat here before I go back to Q-Doba. ( I just threw a jab). First of all, I ordered my items with corn AND extra protein being steak neither were included. Paying for steak is an additional cost. I paid for extra protein on both. Now when I recieve my items it had only chicken. On both. I ordered chicken and steak on both. When I ask the worker abt my order. She replies with “we don’t have steak” I respond with well I had paid for steak on the app. She responds with “sorry there’s nothing else we can do”. Note I was also not called before hand before rec
I needed a closer Abobo Mexican Grill and finally spotted this location. Most of the food is great. The first time I visited the woman at the counter gave my partner and I gucamole that needed to be thrown away unfortunately. I do not think she knew it wasn’t good anymore before serving it to us but from the photos you can see it wasn’t fresh and we arrived around lunch time and got home maybe 10 minutes later to see our food.
