Sometimes close early or are of offerings. Cash only. Only takeout. The food is good, but it's not a place I rely on because they are fairly aloof about certain aspects of running a business. If Im passing by, want some cheap food, and have the cash, I'll stop in cause it's yummy! Don't believe their sign that something is broken, they never take cards.
Ali's Roti Shop Flatbush Avenue is amazing. The doubles and phoulourie are so delicious and full of flavor in fact the food is amazing cuz the curry chicken the fried fish the Curry Beef all was so so delicious. The staff is so kind and welcoming. I traveled from Staten Island to Brooklyn just to get their food and we'll do it again and again. Highly recommended
Came here on a Saturday afternoon and ordered Chicken Roti, Goat Dinner (there were no more Oxtail), and Macaroni Pie. Total came up to $34. I paid in cash. The woman preparing the food and the gentleman at the cashier was very friendly. The Goat wasn't ready so we were asked to wait which we waited about 30 minutes. The woman thanked us for waiting and it was worth it. The food is delicious! Flavorful with every bite.
