The restaurant is located in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn. They prepare Indian halal cuisine. Several tables are available for dining in with servers. Soups 🍲, salads 🥗, appetizers, entrees, lunch specials, dinner specials, sides, desserts 🍨 and beverages ☕️ are on the menu. I ordered chicken 🐔 soup and two dinner specials that offer customers a choice of appetizer, entree and one naan bread. The food was average in taste and flavor. Very friendly and helpful staff.
My husband and I visited for a casual lunch. We ordered the onion bhuija, cold kachori (in place of samosa chaat, which they didn’t have), and chicken biryani. The food was made to order and our waiter was extremely pleasant and friendly. The place was all to ourselves on a Tuesday afternoon. All of their orders were picked up by couriers and they were busy. The condiments were delicious too. I’d definitely go back!
Absolutely loved my experience at Ashoka in Flatbush! The samosas were perfectly crispy and flavorful, the mango lassi was fresh and refreshing, and the butter chicken was absolutely incredible, rich, creamy, and full of flavor. Everything tasted authentic and homemade. Highly recommend if you’re craving delicious Indian food in Brooklyn!
