Finally made it to Bel Aire Diner and I can honestly say it lives up to the hype especially with their halal menu option. Being able to swap any protein on their regular menu for halal is a game changer, and they don’t cut corners at all. The Harissa Chicken Sandwich was a standout with its juicy chicken thigh glazed in sweet-spicy harissa honey, perfectly balanced and tucked into soft brioche with a nice crunch from the cabbage. Typical NJ Diner. Expansive menu and you can order anything at any time. Very friendly service but I knocked it down a notch because of a curious seating assignment- we were given one of the worst tables in the restaurant near the bussing area with many better options available. Food was typical good with generous portions.
The chicken salad sandwich was delicious. It was flavorful, and made with fresh ingredients. The pickle & cole slaw were the perfect addition to the sandwich. The service was friendly, attentive & made the whole experience even better. Thank you Katerina!! We will definitely be back!!
