I came here on the 6th of February. I was greeted by Basudeb. The restaurant was so beautiful. He was kind and helped me pick from the menu. I was the only one there. I ordered from the lunch special. I got Butter Chicken with basmati rice, onion kulcha naan, and lentil soup (Chana masala). Everything was delicious and spicy. Found our favorite Indian restaurant nearby! Walked in for 8pm Sunday lunch. We ordered Malai Kofta, Saag Paneer, and Chicken Tikka Masala with garlic naan and rice. The chicken had wonderful smoky flavor from the tandoori, and the saag paneer was beautifully rich and earthy. Halal friendly
First time trying this chain restaurant. Very familiar w curry as my family is from the West Indies, but I enjoy south Asian food in general and have had my fair share of Indian food. A bit too heavy handed with the oil used. I know there will be a bit that separates and curry will need to be combined to reincorporate the liquids, but this was a bit too much.
