One of the best Korean Fried Chicken spots I know! Boong's is actually so bomb. 10/10 would recommend. The spicy snow dry rub is actually spicy for once, and the soy garlic and spicy soy dipping sauces they offer are both so delicious. I enjoyed this meal way more than I thought I would. I would say the biggest gripe about this spot is it was so expensive for only 4 boned wings and fries. Over $18 for 4 wings and that's because it was the lunch special. Their wings don't normally come with fries
Even on a 96 degree day, Boongs hit THE spot. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the loveliest worker, Becca. It had been my first time at a spot like this, so she walked me through the different choices based on my taste then showed me how to use the machines. Becca is extremely charismatic and knowledgeable on all types of ramen. I 100% recommend checking this spot out!! There’s also free kimchi and scallions, two containers per person #loveit
I ordered a 12 piece of the sweet and spicy wings. They were quite large and delicious. The sauce was excellent and had the perfect little hint of spice. The wall of Ramen adds to the atmosphere and the whole store has a hole in the wall vibe in a very good way.
