Shocked at the speed of service. We ordered and got our food fresh within 15 minutes and it didn't taste reheated. Ordered the whole red snapper, the skirt steak with a delicious chimichurri, the garlic shrimp mofongo... Heavenly 👌🏾 Ordered a Coqui Tango & Can't wait to try the Lychee Martinez Thanks to Sophie and Jessica the Tres Leches was also amazing for dessert. Wonderful space and happy I finally made it on the eve of my Birthday. Will be back ✨
Ok, why 5 stars?. The food and drinks were phenomenal. The Staff! Amazing! I’m Puerto Rican , grew up with my grandmother and I barely like going to “Spanish” restaurants because you expect the food to be the same way you grew up eating. This place is it! I felt like I was home with my grandmother again , listening to Salsa and enjoying the ambiance. Thank you for letting me re-live my childhood memories.
Wifey and I had dinner here before our show at the St. George Theater... We really enjoyed the food. It's a small restaurant where reservations are preferred. The atmosphere was nice. Salsa music plays as you enter and throughout your visit. The menu offers authentic Puerto Rican food. If you are looking for a little taste from La Isla Del Encanto, make your way to this little gem on Staten Island!
