I hadn’t been in the Marine Park area in ages & decided to stop here for lunch yesterday. It was a cold day so I decided to have a soup & a sandwich. I had the clam chowder to start, which was pretty good. Then had the roast beef sandwich which they’re known for dipping the bread in the beef’s juice. I added cheese & onions & practically inhaled the sandwich it was so good. The service was quick & the server polite. The restaurant is quite old & though that adds to the atmosphere the table I was
Finally got to visit this Brooklyn institution. It was alright to be honest. I do like the other famous competitor more better as there is pizza after a certain amount spent. The roast beef sandwich was alright, the Manhattan clam chowder was good. Sweet potato fries were nice! Big fan of the service and atmosphere! Be ready with your cash and it is pricey in my opinion.
