Warning: A real review! I can't believe what I had last night, this place needs to be out of business with the trash they selling. The garbage is where my food landed. I got fried chicken with yams and mac cheese. The macaroni looks like plastic and taste like rotten milk and cheese. Yuck. The yams taste funky, not fresh. The only thing edible is the chicken, flavorless but salvageable after being dunked in hot sauce. Thank god I didn't wake up sick after eating a bite of that spoiled food. I
A newly opened soul food gem in Brooklyn. I recently stopped by here to grab some lunch. One word to describe it: DELICIOUS. The food was a good portion size, freshly made, and full of flavor. I ordered the oxtail eggrolls, fried Whiting fish which came with 2 sides (macaroni and cheese/collard greens) and the lastly the banana pudding. The oxtail eggrolls were stuffed with hearty pieces of oxtail and sweet plantain. The fish was seasoned well, not oily, and had a great crisp. Presentation for t
Our first visit and it won’t be our last for sure. We had the oxtail, baked Mac and greens with a guava lemonade and passion lemonade. Food was fresh and it was delicious. Definitely give them a try.
