The C & B in C&B Luncheonette must stand for Cherished and Blissful because that is how you feel after eating a meal here. From the moment you step through their door, you are treated with such great hospitality that is rare to come by these days. I’ve been walking by this spot for a while now, and decided to finally check it out. My girlfriend and I each got steak, egg and cheese on a scallion pancake and we split the green tea pancakes for dessert. Everything was a 10/10! The scallion pancakes are perfectly flaky, and the cheese perfectly melty. The green tea pancakes are just the right amount of sweet, with a hint of sharpness from the green tea. SO GOOD! And affordable! My scallion pancake sandwich with steak, mushroom, eggs, cheese was delish. Pancake? Crispy and flaky. Steak and mushrooms? Juicy. Cheese? Melty. Perfect combo. Glad I did pick up so it had time to cool a bit. Otherwise I would’ve burned my tongue with excitement 😂 devoured in seconds. Halfway through pic
