Could this be one of the best food spots in LIC? Perhaps. Nice and lowkey on the corner of Vernon Blvd there’s Cafe Henri: where the servers attend to your wants and needs with efficiency, the food is always delish and honestly speaking extremely affordable*. I took my mother out for brunch and got myself the Henri Burger (cooked medium well) and my mother got the Le Pain Perdu…(the best French toast on the Blvd). I challenged myself to find a new place out of my comfort zone and ended up at Cafe Henri. The restaurant is in a quiet area that is easy to get to. I loved the intimate feel of the restaurant. I got the French onion soup as my starter it was piping hot and not too heavy. As my main I got the steak au poivre which could easily be split by two people as the portion was generous.
