I after checking around for places to have lunch I finally decided to give this place a try...I wish I didn't, I ordered a turkey sandwich, and it took them about 10 minutes to get it done, not bad right? When I got my sandwich it was literally a sliver of turkey with sketchy lettuce and cheese...how much was that? $13, I would not mind paying that for a sandwich if it was at least presentable. This place has gross food. All the food tastes like it was frozen and then thawed. It’s esthetically pleasing, which draws people in but it does not live up to the standards of a neighborhood with the best food in the city. It’s totally disappointing. Everything takes way longer than it should. I wish it was replaced by an authentic restaurant more fitting for the neighborhood
We stopped by to meet the library opening time. I ordered a quesadilla and coffee was provided for free. This kind of joy is always welcome! The healthiest quesadilla I've ever eaten? It was. There were a lot of beans, and I don't know why, but there was cilantro in it. I don't like cilantro, so of course the scent bothered me.
