CC’s Jamaican Restaurant gets five stars from me! The oxtails were amazing — tender, flavorful, and packed with good meat. The goat meat platter with plantains was also outstanding, full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The black beans & rice were awesome as well. My only recommendation is to order no less than a large portion because once you start eating, you’ll definitely want more!
I came to CC’s earlier today really looking forward to getting some stew peas. I traveled all the way from Queens and arrived around 11:30 a.m. When I got there, I greeted the cashier and asked if the stew peas were ready. She didn’t look up or acknowledge me, and when I asked if she knew about what time it would be ready , whether in an hour or two , she just shook her head without saying a word. I’ve passed this restaurant for years and never stopped in, but I finally decided to order it on Uber Eats. The meal was really good—now I understand why there are always cars double parked outside.
