When I tell you I will be thinking of this fried chicken in my dreams! Wanted soul food on a whim and this place popped up and now I can’t get enough!!! This place is absolutely delicious and the staff are so welcoming and friendly!! Seasoned well, cooked perfectly, cornbread crispy on the top doughy on the inside, collards cooked to perfection. I am so happy this isn’t on my way home from work because I would go here everyday. Highly recommend!! Top favorite spots in the city!!
Was craving their jerk chicken and then I saw they have a guest chef series. I had the pleasure of meeting Chef Shawn Osbey. I tried his grits w shrimp and it was a divine dish. And, an interesting interpretation because the grits were fried. Really nice. Would eat again. They did not have my jerk chicken 😢 so I guess I have to go back (such problems in life 😆) they ran out of the empanadas so can’t comment.
