A really great surprise in Bay Ridge. I was searching for a lunch spot when I remembered this small sandwich shop and decided to stop in and I’m glad I did. It took me a few minutes to choose, but it was well worth it. They’re definitely generous with the meat. I ordered the #1, the Giant Special, which came with ham, fried eggplant, fresh mozzarella, balsamic, and mayo. Everything tasted great, and I’m already looking forward to trying more of their sandwiches next time I’m in the area.

My girlfriend and I Just visited Bay Ridge for the weekend from Florida for my birthday looking for the authentic New York Italian sandwich, and let me tell you that Charlie’s is more than impressive! Charlie recommended the #7 and it was absolutely one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had! Delicious and very fresh! Ordered a small side of potato salad to go with it which was phenomenal as well! Charlie was wonderful with hospitality and is a great human being! Can’t wait to visit again! Highly
