Guyanese Chinese food & Caribbean items like jerk chicken served in a compact cafe with takeout.
From Google Maps reviews.
Visited Brooklyn this past weekend and was looking for authentic Guyanese Chinese food. My best friend suggested this place. The flavor profile is on point. I’m big on service so I wasn’t blown away. I wish it came with shredded cabbage and cucumbers. I also wish the pepper sauce was real pepper sauce and not pepper sauce water. I was so excited about the amazing flavor that I waited until I returned home to Maryland to really enjoy it. I’ll definitely be back for the food whenever I’m in Brookl
The noodles they’re using for the chow mein are not the traditional noodles we use in Guyana to make chow mein, so honestly I don’t even consider it real chow mein. The noodles are way too fine, almost like angel hair pasta, and I personally don’t like that texture at all.
I ordered from Uber eats I paid 19 dollars for the duck and roti and 18.50 for the goat. I gave my dad the goat he was so mad the portion size is so minute. Had I ordered from the other roti shops in queens I would not have been disappointed as I am here. The food taste good but how can you charge so much for next to nothing. I have added a photo hope this helps.
