Hands down the best American Chinese food I’ve ever had — and I’m Chinese myself. I ordered the beef with string beans, chicken and broccoli, and sweet and sour soup — and decided to get a little creative by adding wontons to the soup (highly recommend). Everything was amazing — the beef was tender, the veggies were fresh, and the flavors hit perfectly. As someone who grew up eating a lot of real Chinese food, I’m usually picky about American Chinese spots — but China Star absolutely nails it.
