Five stars for a flawless family day at Citi Field! I brought the kids for the Subway Series and the stadium truly delivered the ultimate baseball experience and atmosphere. The Yankees took the win but honestly, the real victory was seeing how much fun the kids had the entire night. I actually packed snacks from home but the kids wanted the full authentic ballpark experience so of course we ended up getting the classic stadium hot dogs instead and they loved every second of it! Citi Field 41 Seaver way, Queens NY 11368 Citi Field is beautiful, grand & a fun place to go & be. The New York Mets (Metropolitans) are the home team and they generally do not play well overall. Citified is easy to get to and there's a very accessible number 7 train to take you right to the stadium. Citi Field is ADA accessible and there are plenty of police & security. Parking seems kinda nuts, if you park around the stadium, but you can get used to the grind- trading convenience for comfort.
Haven’t been to a Mets home game since the days of Shea. Good to be back here. The public transport option worked well and I had no issues getting here on the 7 line coming from LIRR. A beautiful night for a ball game, despite the loss. I loved wandering around and finding some gems. For example, the Mets HOF plaques at the entrance, which included my first favorite ballplayer: Darryl Strawberry 🍓!
