Am I biased? Yes. I live close by and I can walk here. Am I rooting with all of my heart and soul for this local gem to succeed beyond the charming owner’s wildest dreams? Yes. The love, heart and soul invested here deserve the greatest of returns. So, why do I love Cocina Consuelo so much. Well, the food is truly outstanding. We got in about 10:30 am and were able ro sit right away. The service was friendly and attentive. We appreciate the quality of the service and food. We ordered the chorizo quesadilla, the masa pancake and the tortillas con huevo. Loved the chorizo quesadilla especially how fresh the tortilla tasted. The strawberry syrup on the pancake reminded me of home. The kitchen may be small but the heart put into these dishes is amazing. Made me feel at home and was a lovely ambiance.
