Jazz club in the heart of Harlem, one of the few remaining Jazz venues that is worth checking. Went on Saturday night with friends and we had great time. The musicians were talented and the singer was engaging with the audience and entertaining. came here for dinner in a very big group for dinner, it was buffet style. We came in and I immediately could smell the mold on the walls and the grease. It's so easily searchable on the web that this place is: a) not the original Cotton Club, which was located at 142nd Street and Lenox Avenue (now Malcolm X Blvd), b) has nothing to do with the original Cotton Club beyond appropriating the name, and c) benefits from unscrupulous tour companies bringing vans and busses of tourists here week after week for a disingenuous photo opp.
