Breakfast deals are worth it! $6.50 for a bowl of congee and a plate of cherng fun (rice noodles). Food came out in 5 minutes. No tipping - you pay first and then wait to go up to pick up your tray of food when your buzzer rings. Coffee is good.
No longer Dagu, but Brooklyn Noodle Inc. Loved how clean and brightly lit the restaurant is. A no tip establishment too! Unfortunately the food was no good. Had the char siu ho fun noodle soup. The cut of char siu was super lean, dry and tough already and the chef chooses not to cut against the grain...making it even tougher?!?! Egregious. Ho fun noodles, while not overcooked, came in tiny broken pieces. Ate with spoon instead of chopsticks.
Glad there is a new noodle place in the neighborhood! Large portion with reasonable price . The soup is very flavorful and hot just the way I like it. The staff is really nice they bring out the side on separate mini plates but puts them in your bowl for you ! I couldn’t finish all the noodles and took the rest home in this cute takeout bag!!!
