While the food was good, no one wants to be urged to leave, not once but twice. I arrived and was greeted by the bartender, who I wonder may be the owner. I was sat promptly at 5:24 PM (time stamps on my texts). Order and waited, had a beer and was served at 6:00pm. By 6:25 the waitress brought me the check, which I didn't ask for. At 6:36 myself and the party of two next to me was asked to essentially leave, as they had people waiting to be seated. I don't stay where I am not wanted. I spent $7
Brunch was decent overall. The eggs on the Benny were poached well, and the burger patty was cooked just right. Nothing really stood out, though. I did ask for my potatoes extra crispy, but they didn’t come out that way. Also, I was curious why there was only one burger option for brunch, and it wasn’t even served with an egg option. The place itself felt a bit dark and cramped, and while our server was fine, they didn’t check back in during the meal to see how everything was. Probably won’t be
This week I made my first visit to Dirty Pierre's. It's not like I had a choice. My husband and our friends are there several nights a week and since I am often out of town, I'd never been, so I was eager to see what the draw is - and it's really simple. Exceptional food, an amazing and friendly team and an atmosphere that makes you feel as if you're eating and drinking with a group of friends, rather than with a restaurant full of strangers.
