Waited for 1 hour. Paid about $23 dollars for small container suya. You could go to a Jamacian resteraunt nearby and get rice and peas with oxtail for $22.... Taste was ok some of the meat was smoky. Meat was cheaper cuts. Very hard to chew for this price. One piece was just fat that I could not eat. Overall just overpriced small portions.
The food was good but the wait time is long. By long i mean about 40 minutes for one order. This small spot is BUSY. Good indication that its a great spot. Some menu items may not be available so I would call before hand on specific stuff. (Asun goat for example) other than that I would return i think
My husband is a top chef from Jamaica who is very skeptical about out door dining. My daughter google and found this amazing spot. My 8 years old was devouring the food which was spicy yet sooo good. I brought home some and convinced my husband to taste what our son had regardless of the spice..He said it is the best food he has ever had...this man does not give any resturant credit ..we lived in the Hamptons for over 10 years and he never gave any of those fancy restaurants credit.
