Casual Mexican restaurant serving small plates, comfort food, and quick bites.

Pretty good local spot for tacos. I grabbed some the other day for lunch, and they hit the spot. I had a steak, chicken, and pork al pastor. The al pastor had the best taste, but it was smaller than the rest. The chicken and steak were good, but I got a few chunks of fat in each, which was a bit of a turn-off. For the price, however, it was a good lunch.
On food quality alone, El Mirador is the best restaurant in Kensington and dwarfs most of Brooklyn's Mexican restaurants. Prices are great and fair and there's a wide menu capable of accommodating most. I usually don't doc points for service but El Mirador is incredibly flakey. Sometimes they just don't open. Restaurant has the menustart to order online, but they don’t work with this company, I had to call my bank to put a complaint and cancel my card. The owner needs to check as to why this company is saying that you can order with this site if is not true. When I spoke to him, he seems like he didn’t care.
