Tasty and affordable tiny food spot, tucked away near 215th street station. Went for my lunch, small plate portion was more than enough and food was flavorful. This place is worth trying.
I got mofongo chicharron ($15) and coffee with milk ($1.50). The mofongo was so tasty, and the sauce on the side allowed me to adjust the saltiness. Tip: do not pour all of the sauce in- too salty. I couldn’t finish the food, because it was so much. The coffee was delicious for the price point, and the cashier was nice. The small restaurant feels cozy. I came here for lunch and had the roast chicken and roast pork here and they were delicious. The rice was cooked to perfection and the beans added flavor. I'd definitely come here again to keep trying the rest of the menu.
