We ordered takeout and were impressed that everything was ready exactly on time. The food was delicious and authentic. Definitely some of the best Chinese takeout in Staten Island. I’d highly recommend trying their dishes; we’ll certainly be ordering from here again!
We had a great experience at Empire East in Oakwood! I ordered the General Tso's chicken and my wife had the mango chicken salad—both dishes were very flavorful, fresh, and delicious. Portions were generous and everything was served hot and nicely presented. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. Overall, it was a really enjoyable meal and we’re happy to recommend Empire East to others. We’re giving four stars and will definitely be back!
The food has not been good lately. Ordered squid in black bean sauce combo- a few pieces of large rubbery squid- mostly peppers and rice. Worst dish I have had here. Also ordered beef and broccoli- broccoli not cooked at all. Pan fried Pork dumplings very doughy. The boneless BBQ pork was the only decent thing. Spent $80- way overpriced.
