Leah from Falu House was so kind to create a Danish strawberry tart for my post-PhD defense celebrations despite never having made the cake before. She tried out the recipe over the weekend and sent me pictures so I could see what it looked like, and the end result was absolutely stunning and super tasty. Lots of (non-Danish) people complimented the cakes and asked me where I'd gotten it from so it's safe to say it was a huge success! Thanks again Leah for being so helpful and accommodating!! :)
A cafe sharing space with a scandi furniture super. Decent cardamon bun and flat white (slightly more acidic). Lovely salmon soup uniquely Scandinavian, perfect for the winner. White fish sandwich was surprisingly good too.
