Good Italian restaurant inside Time Out Market. It was packed the day we went (a Sunday during the Christmas season), but we managed to snag a small table here. We really liked that you can order and pay through their app (I assume it’s the same for all restaurants in Time Out). Our food didn't take long to arrive; we ordered two pasta dishes and they were honestly very tasty. Prices are reasonable considering the location.
Got the special Rigatoni Vodka pasta, this is the chewiest pasta I have ever eaten, felt like it was just microwaved and served. Very very bad quality, would suggest to get anything else but this from timeout market.
How do you sell a cacio e pepe but not know how to make cacio e pepe sauce? It’s just two ingredients at the right temperature. The proof of their incompetence is very visibly in the sauce/photo. Add “al dente” rigatoni to the mix, that’s too al dente, and you got yourself an amazingly messed up meal. I know frat boys who’d cook me better for less using the Kraft parmesan that’s been sitting in their fridge past the expiration date.
