Casual eatery offering a variety of West African dishes, including jollof rice, plantains and stews.
From Google Maps reviews.
I ordered the okra stew And pounded yam I’m so happy that they give a vegetarian option. However, the stew was extremely bland. I would love to continue to order being that I live all the way in Flatbush. I just would need a little bit more flavor to the red stew other than that, the stew was hot and my order was correct . Please keep the No meat option on the menu
Went with my wife after church service, instead of take out, we dined in. The food is great, service is impeccable. While we were there, they attended to almost 20 orders. Everyone was just in and out with their orders. Very respectable. The following Sunday, we had to do a take out. The Iyan and egusi soup was so good that when I could barely finish the food, they thought I was done with the food, and they came to clean up... I was like nope, I'm just resting I will finish it 😀😀. Good food
The jollof rice is solid. The meat pie was dry, like cracker dry. The chicken, well see for yourself never have seen wings so thin and rock hard like some of the other reviewers mentioned. There were some feathers still visible on there too. Thus I will not chance eating the chicken. I ordered via Ubereats and the food was still nice and hot which was a plus.
