Solid bar with a great set of local taps. Hudson Valley being there is my sign of high quality beer. For the food, get the eggplant balls. They're meaty, moist, and have a great tomato sauce. The sliders are too charred for my taste, and the poutine too sweet. But the eggplant balls and the Brussels Sprouts are great. The vibe is local sports tavern, enough TVs for the gamblers with still space for talking.
Forest Hills Station House turned out to be the perfect late-night food spot while we were in the area. After a long day, it was exactly the kind of place you hope to find—great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and attentive service. The food and service was great! I loved the turkey BLT and the Cole slaw that came with it was very fresh and crunchy. Staff is incredible. Our server was funny and sweet. He always checked in on us and everyone there was kind. Definitely will be coming back for brunch.
