Casual and homey spot. You order at the counter and they bring your food out to you. The dumplings come out saucy, juicy, and hot. Popcorn chicken's full of flavor and the winter melon tea was delicious, sweet and light. Good neighborhood lunch and dinner Taiwanese restaurant.
Absolutely love their nappa chicken, cabbage pan fried dumplings.. but!! Second week I get it, and have been finding bones inside. This wasn’t happening before. Today I tried the popcorn chicken and it was delish!! Still will be coming back, just confused for the bones since it wasn’t an issue before.
The Lu Rou Fan was the best - the pork was perfectly braised soft and sauce was flavorful and Taiwanese authentic. We did wish the rice was a tad hotter. Spicy beef noodles broth was very delicious (the noodle on the thicker side), the beef perfect. The signature pork pan fried dumplings were served hot and juicy with the sauce. The pork bun was on the sweet side, did not expect this but it was surprisingly very good! The shaker on the table is spicy flavor and goes well with the popcorn chicken
