Updated review: I am SO glad I went back. I tried the heirloom tomato bagel and the salmon tartare bagel and both were 10/10!! Original review: I really wanted to love this place but my bagel sandwich was very disappointing. I got the pastrami egg & cheese on a sesame bagel, which was gorgeous but, unfortunately, completely lacking in flavor. I want to give them one more shot and try one of the more traditional bagel + lox sandwiches, which will hopefully live up to the hype!
So damn good -- the quality is high and delicious. Perfect for a quick snack or something more filling. Recommend the bacon, egg, & Swiss on a sesame bagel with heirloom tomato. Also, the heirloom tomato open face sandwich with scallion cream cheese was amazing.
I had 15 hours in the city before I caught a flight and decided to come here first. I could’ve JUST eaten here and then gone back to the airport 😂 my day was complete. A hot pastrami sandwich, every gel and a slice of cinnamon babka bread. This place is the stuff dreams are made of. The service and quaint deli environment felt like a hug from my family.
