Fresh Taco is under new ownership now, and you can tell they’re trying to bring some fresh energy to the place. The shop looks clean and simple, the food came out hot, and everything tasted fresh. It’s a solid neighborhood spot if you’re looking for a quick taco, burrito, or casual meal. Hope they keep it up — nice to have another good option in Ridgewood.
Tried their tostada shrimp Salad it was amazing. Especially the deep fried fresh tortillas. Can't find this anywhere else.
They remodeled and it's cleaner now, and they raised the prices too much which kind of crazy since it costs the same or higher than Tacqueria Al Pastor across the street, but whatever, I have a soft spot in my heart for these old school 90's NYC Fresca Tortillas clones -- but the bigger deal is what the heck are they thinking with the "hot sauce" ??? Before they remodeled the hot sauce was more like Chinese chili sauce which was weird enough, but now they've replaced that with this salad dressi
