This isn’t a big place and the welcome was lovely. But the service we got needs much improvement. My table was one of 3 at the time and getting anything including a refill for water took longer than necessary. The rigatoni was very delicious and everyone in my party enjoyed their meal. The white wine I had wasn’t the greatest. It wasn’t very sweet at all. Overall, would I go back ? Maybe. But not for a while to give them some time to get better. This restaurant is a wonderful new addition to the neighborhood. Every time I visit, it feels like home. The owners are welcoming, gracious, and truly accommodating. The food is incredible, and I really appreciate the heart and care they’ve brought to our community
We ate here on what (I think) was their second night of service, so I'm going to cut them some slack. The food was very good but the service could use some work. But I'm feeling generous with stars, and I have been a beginner too. First, the beet salad was very good but needs more beets. Pistachios and fruit (apple) was a nice touch and overall very good but too much lettuce and not enough beets for a salad called "bietole". Pasta alla gricia was excellent.
