Casual restaurant dishing up traditional Jamaican meals, including oxtail and curry goat.
From Google Maps reviews.
Our first time trying here and we were very disappointed with the breakfast. The ackee and salfish was so salty, fried dumpings texture was hard and not enjoyable. The curry chicken was extremely oily (& borderline salty), it stained everywhere. We had curry residue on our hands for hours. The cormeal porridge was the worst I've ever had it was so thick with a brown color and fresh. The best thing was the saltfish fritters.
I came here twice and I must say that the curry goat and fried chicken is the best. I order a medium curry goat with white rice and a side of fried chicken. 10/10. But for $26?! The issue is that you can’t really get what you want. Hear me out for example… you can’t get a small order of oxtail….like?! You can only get a medium size with a side. It’s overpriced. Just by looking at it I can tell it’s not even worth the price. Also if you get like a medium size meal with any meat and rice you can’t
I've been here a few times and the thing that keeps me coming back is the flavour of the dishes that I ve tried . It is consistent ! The chef cooks with love , you can taste it . This is one of those places I look forward to going to . Not because there is no other choice , but because The deliciousness stays on my mind . If you soo happen to find yourself here. Try the stew chicken with curry chicken sauce . Don't knock it until you try it .
