As every time something new opens in our neighborhood, we always love to try it and today was perfect on small business Saturday. That is pretty much all I had to say “nice” about today’s experience. The person at the counter asked for our order (you can see our receipt for the details) and took it verbally. Then kept repeating it, missing some items or telling us about items we didn’t ask as if we was trying to learn it by heart. I repeated it 3 times and thought I was done…..until the 4th time
Wow! This halal restaurant is my favorite halal restaurant of all-time. The Afghan friendly man who serves the food and takes your order is an angel and his hospitality when I visited was superb. He was kind enough to even ask me to try and grab one of those Shahi Kulfi ice cream sticks that he sells on the side which I ate right after, I finished my food and it was delicious. I love this place and the guys that work here!! I thankfully live around the corner and am in at least once a week, they’re always so kind and remember me. Portions are huge and it’s a great deal, the lamb over rice is probably my favorite meal ever :) delicious and super friendly service
