The confit wings were juicy and full of flavor. The brunch burger was hearty, topped with a perfectly cooked egg and crispy bacon. The avocado toast was just as impressive, with a creamy avocado spread, egg, and tangy pickled red onions. Every dish was satisfying and delicious.
We had an exceptional dinner, followed by great music at Happy Note NYC, a great venue that offers singers a chance to perform in their back room. I wanted to celebrate the Knicks win last night but it started off on a bad note because Glasses (the white female bartender) was rude and dismissive. I waited 10 minutes for her to even acknowledge me. Then, when she decided that I was worthy of her attention, she told me she was unable to serve me a beer because she was SO slammed with orders. Mind you, she just finished serving two waters to a white girl next to me and refilled an interracial couple’s drinks right next to me. She didn’t offer
