Hilton Garden Inn Long Island City is situated in a great location. It’s walking distance from the train station that takes you into Manhattan. There are lots of food options in the area. Rooms are clean and quiet. You can’t hear any of the outside noise of the city. Shavon at the front desk provided great service and made me feel welcome and appreciated. Amazing customer service.
Our stay was very disappointing. We found bugs in our original room, and although the hotel moved us to another room, the experience left our kids terrified. They spent the entire night worrying that another bug would crawl onto their beds, so none of us got much rest. We also ran into another issue when we tried to do laundry. Oh my god, this hotel was so unbelievably ridiculous that I actually had to leave a negative review like this. First of all, I’m a Hilton member. I left the hotel at 8:00 AM and came back at 8:00 PM, only to find that my room had not been cleaned at all. The bottled water provided on the first day was not replenished either. I called the front desk to ask why housekeeping hadn’t serviced my room, and they told me that guests have to personally go downstairs and inform the front desk every sing
