Came here mainly because I wanted a spot I could actually hang with my dog and this place delivers. Super laid-back, no attitude, just good people and a true dive bar feel. The outdoor space is the real win — plenty of room to sit, have a drink, and let your dog chill without feeling cramped. Drinks are cheap, crowd is friendly, and nobody’s trying too hard. Exactly what you want when you just want to exist for a few hours with your dog and a beer.
Lived on W 8 from 1977 to 2003. Back then it was a refuge after work. Dave was the bartender then. Always has someone walk me home. Always protection patrons.
There's a cute bartender named Fran and I specifically go there on nights she bartends. I love this place and had a great time!!! Definitely a place I enjoy showing my friends
