Excellent experience ordering a zucchini pie from Hooks! From the second I walked in, I felt like I’ve been going there forever! Everyone was welcoming and that alone makes me want to go back. The zucchini pie was incredible! They were very generous with the zucchini!! You can tell the ingredients are high quality and that they take time perfecting their food. I can’t wait to go back and test out the menu!!!!
The pepperoni pin wheel didn't look like the best thing. But when I ate it, it was crispy, crunchy, and goey. It tasted great too. I had a cold margherita pizza slice. It was saucy and good. My buddy had a plain slice, he liked it. The bathroom was clean. The guy working there was cool.
I had a very tasty sicilian alla vodka slice, plus the owner was really kind to give us some water bottles on the house as we headed out for a little hike around the Jamaica Bay wildlife refuge. Will definitely be back here next time I'm in the area!
