Nice lunch spot with a cozy brunch café vibe. They also have a larger downstairs room. The sandwich was okay, but the service was especially friendly and welcoming, which really stood out. A few people were working on their laptops, but it did not feel like just a workspace. Overall, a pleasant place for lunch or coffee.
This is my first time seeing this gem! It appears this corner niche bar can accommodate all tastes. I am certain to return! Sesily was lovely! I am adding on to my review. Cora has also been the amazing staff member for today! The food is amazing. Wholesome and fresh ingredients. I am certainly thrilled to have found this establishment! ❤️
The food and coffee is good, but during my last few visits, I've felt unwelcome as a Black person. I think this is partly due to the heavy gentrification in the area and the crowd it now attracts, which is unfortunate. Some days, the staff is very pleasant, while other days, they barely acknowledge me/friends and are much friendlier with non-POC customers when they walk in. Just a mix bag at this point.
