Satisfying meal at HUPO! Everything was fresh and expertly prepared. The Mapo Tofu is a must-try—rich, savory, and perfectly spiced. The Ma-La wontons were also a highlight. With its comforting flavors and efficient service, this is now my go-to spot for bold Chinese cuisine. I'll definitely be back!
Good food and a nice atmosphere. I do wish the Szechuan food was a little more spicy, but the dishes we got, like Shrimp with silken tofu, Szechuan fish fillet with tofu, Dan Dan noodles, and Green Beans was very good. Prices are a little high and portions were small compared to Flushing, but the difference was not extravagant, and for three people we were able to be full for about $90 pre-tip, which is respectable.
The food was really good! A drypot and fish with vegetables were filling enough for two people. The deco inside was nicely done too. Felt like a hidden gem in the neighborhood.
