My new favorite taco spot in Bushwick, maybe anywhere. $10 for 3 Al pastor tacos on Tuesday. $11 happy hour Mezcalitas are mixed to perfection. I love their chorizo too. The salsas are perfectly thick and flavorful. Service is outstanding. Vibes are high. Say hi to Santiago at the bar for me. Don't walk, run, to Illegal Taqueria for all your taco, Mezcal, and margarita needs!
We came for Taco Tuesday and had the 3 al pastor tacos for $10, along with a few other tacos, and all of them were great. The mezcalitas were really good too. We sat out on the back patio and really enjoyed the sun, which made the whole experience even better. The service was lovely throughout, and we will definitely be back.
Our waiter was knowledgeable and helpful. Excellent service. The Pozole was fantastic, with a rich broth and a ton of meat. The tacos were just right. The Nopales were stuffed and flavorful and the Barbacoa and Pastor were amazing. So good. The Jappy hour drinks were delicious.
